What I Made

I had a lot of fun this Christmas making a lot of my gifts for friends and family.

On the menu:
Homemade Vanilla Extract
Homemade Rosemary Sea Salt

Both are really very easy and fun to watch transform.

Homemade Vanilla Extract
Vanilla Beans
Vodka

Slit the vanilla beans open and submerge into vodka.  Cures in about a week, but this is something that just gets better with age!  Find a fun little bottle to do this in.

Homemade Rosemary Sea Salt
Rosemary
Sea Salt

Combine sea salt and rosemary into a big pot and heat to let the rosemary infuse into the salt.  Let it cool, but keep it covered overnight and then put into a fun canister or bottle! Replace old rosemary with some new sprigs!
